LY403 – Alternative Dispute Resolution – 0.5 Credit

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) has become a staple of legal decision making in Canada, and a less costly and more positive means of resolving disputes across various areas of law. In this course, students will be introduced to the fundamental principles and concepts of ADR and their application to the resolution of conflict. Students will learn about fact patterns in cases, representation, issues that relate to court annexed disputes, approaches to positive dispute resolution, the Canadian legal profession
