CT310 – Blending Economic Theory and Law: Money, Markets and Justice – 0.5 Credit

This course will explore the impact of neo-classical economic theory on the formation and interpretation of law. The first half of the course will introduce students to some basic micro-economic theories such as Pareto Optimality, Productive and Allocative Efficiency, and Privatization. The second half of the course will explore the impact of these theories on law, and consider the relationship between justice and market efficiency. {VL} Prerequisites Registration status: Year 3 or Year 4 Contemporary Studies (honours or general).
