CT202 – Science and its Critics – 0.5 Credit

A study of the application of the scientific method which emphasizes contemporary challenges to science and technology. Arguments against science as the dominant, rational and objective form of inquiry will be discussed, in conjunction with defences of science and the scientific method. Topics addressed may include uncertainty, ethics and science, the limits of science, feminism and science and science policy. {VL} Prerequisites 1.0 100 level CT credit.
