CT401 – Food – 0.5 Credit

This course is designed to examine the connections between food and society from an interdisciplinary perspective, including the myriad health and related issues tied to contemporary food production and consumption. Issues that may be considered include local and global food distribution, consumption habits, food sufficiency, GMOs, ecological health, human health and sustainability. Prerequisites Registration status: Year 4 Honours Contemporary Studies or permission of the CT co-ordinator. Exclusions CT400a.
