BI358 – Animal Form and Function – 0.5 Credit

A comparative investigation of animal anatomy and physiology using a systems approach (respiratory, circulatory, digestive, excretory, movement). Central themes focus on homeostasis and the linkages between the environment and anatomical, physiological and behavioural adaptations. Prerequisites BI236 (or BI230) and BI256 (or BI253* or BI283*). (CH202 is strongly recommended.) Co-requisites CH203 and CH250 are recommended. Exclusions BI409*. Notes 3 lecture hours, 3 lab/tutorial hours
