OL265 – Forms of Economic Organization – 0.5 Credit

An examination of different ways of organizing economic activity. The course will consider both the ways in which organizations themselves may be organized from an economic point of view, and the broader economic strictures in which they operate. Forms of economic organization considered may include the different variants of capitalism, socialism, communism, feudalism, slavery, agrarianism and mercantilism; the connections between these different forms; and the kinds of leadership that characterize them. Prerequisites 1.0 100 level CT credit.
