A study of the historical development of the modern Olympic Games. Areas covered include politics, nationalism, commercialism, marketing and amateurism. The contributions of athletes and administrators who have helped to shape Olympic tradition will be assessed. Prerequisites Registration status: Year 4 of the Honours KPE program or permission of the department.
