KP201 – Bioscience Issues in Kinesiology – 0.5 Credit

This course for non-majors will explore various bioscience aspects of kinesiology including, but not limited to, biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor control and learning, metabolism, nutrition and weight control, muscle physiology, sport performance and exercise/health relationships. Topics and course emphasis may vary from year to year. Prerequisites One of BI100*, BI102*, BI111, or BI117. Exclusions KP121, KP122, KP340Q; registration in the Kinesiology & Physical Education program or registration outside of Faculty of Science.
