EC307 – Economics of Growth – 0.5 Credit

An introductory survey of modern theories of economic growth and of the empirical applications of such theories. Topics include the neoclassical growth model, new growth theory and the role of economic institutions and government policy in facilitating growth. Prerequisites Any one of the following: EC250, EC260, EC270, EC290. Exclusions EC310p.
