An introduction to the chemical literature and principles of scientific communication. Topics to be covered include literature searching and retrieval, scientific writing techniques and styles, and oral and poster conference-style presentations. Prerequisites Registration status: Year 3 Honours Chemistry (or Honours Chemistry combination) or Year 4 Honours Biochemistry and Biotechnology or permission of the department.
