This course will discuss polymer synthesis, structure and properties with an emphasis on functional polymers (polyelectrolytes, conductive polymers) and polymer materials. Basics of soft matter including colloids, amphiphiles and liquid crystals will be introduced. Prerequisites CH111; (CH203 and CH240 recommended) Notes 3 lecture hours, 3 laboratory hours
