A lecture, laboratory and student seminar course emphasizing comparative aspects of animal physiology and adaptations in response to different environments. Topics covered may include gas exchange, circulatory dynamics, osmoregulation, nutrition, energetics, membrane physiology and endocrinology from the molecular to the whole organism level.
