By drawing on a rich, multiperspectival, interdisciplinary body of research, this course examines the complex relationship amongst gender and opportunities for health and likeliness of illness. Topics include gender and medicine, sexuality, experiences across the life course, issues of mental health and others. Prerequisites SY210 (or SY204*) or SY321 or SY322 or SY323; SY389 or (SY387 or SY388).
