SP461 – Hispanic Linguistics – 0.5 Credit

This course is an exploration of several branches of linguistics in the Spanish language including: phonetics and phonology (sounds), morphology (word formation), syntax (sentence structure), and dialectology (language variation). The course also investigates the Spanish language by presenting cognitive perspectives of language acquisition. Prerequisites SP302, SP304, (or SP272 and SP262), or permission of the department.
