PP216 – Critical Social Theory – 0.5 Credit

A study of current philosophical approaches to the analysis and critique of contemporary society. Topics may include capacities for domination and emancipation inherent in forms of rationality, language, individuation and social struggles. Writings to be discussed will be drawn from the Critical Theorists of the Frankfurt School and others. Prerequisites Registration status: senior student. Exclusions PP/PY240Y.
