This course examines the increasingly important role of cities and city-regions in Canada. Topics may include community power structures, political leadership and decision making, economic and political integration, globalization, innovation, the knowledge economy, regional and local clusters, economic development, public participation and civic engagement. Prerequisites Registration status: Year 3 or Year 4 or permission of the department.
