An overview of the psychological, sociological and economic factors behind a wide range of political behaviours of both citizens and leaders, including voting, public opinion formation, peaceful and nonpeaceful protest, and group behaviour. Examples will be drawn from all over the world, with emphasis on advanced democratic societies.
