A study of digital synthesis, sampling and signal processing with an emphasis on musical composition. Students will become acquainted with a microcomputer based ‘studio’, which will be used to produce several short compositions. The course will also cover other related technical, historical and aesthetic topics. Co-requisites or Prerequisites MU251T.
