MA255 – Continuous and Discrete Transforms – 0.5 Credit

Properties of continuous and discrete Fourier transforms; the Sampling Theorem; Inverse Fourier Transforms and convolution; introduction to wavelet analysis; Fast Fourier Transforms and other algorithms. Applications will be selected from areas such as sound, vision and optics. Prerequisites MA201 and MA205. Notes 3 lecture hours, 2 lab hours every other week
