LL223 – Theoretical Linguistics – 0.5 Credit

This course will investigate the major branches of theoretical linguistics: Phonetics and phonology examine properties, production, processes, and patterning of sounds; morphology and syntax explore word, phrase,and sentence structure; semantics investigates the study of meaning; and historical linguistics studies language evolution as a systematic and predicable element. Exclusions EN223. Notes 3 lecture hours
