KP210 – Sport Psychology – 0.5 Credit

The application of psychological theory and research to sport and recreation. Topics include socialization for participation, motor learning, motivation, stress, psychological limits, aggression, competition and co-operation, audience effects, leadership, role of the coach and group cohesion, motivation and aspirations. Prerequisites KP121, PS100 or both PS101 and PS102. Exclusions PS210, PS286.
