JN214 – Journalism and Social Order – 0.5 Credit

Students study the structure and workings of municipal, provincial and federal governments and the legal system in Canada and apply their knowledge by exploring and producing related stories. Analysis of typical government and court-related news stories will allow students to reflect critically on the challenges associated with their coverage of these areas. Prerequisites JN201. Exclusions JN202 and JN203.
