An introduction to the structure, phonology and semantics of Italian. Oral and written practice will focus on basic grammar, practical vocabulary and pronunciation. The course is designed for students with little or no knowledge of Italian. Exclusions Grade 11 (or above) Italian, IT130, or equivalent (except with permission of the department).
