This course investigates the relationship between Native peoples and settlers from first contact to contemporary times. The common themes of Native-settler relations, such as colonialism, sovereignty, treaties and land rights, will be examined using historical and modern case studies from around the world. Prerequisites CT120/ID120 and 0.5 senior ID credit.
