HS300 – Infection and Immunity – 0.5 Credit

This course examines the anatomical and physiological basis of human immunity. Mechanisms involved in the immune response are examined from the perspective of defence against infectious agents. As well, autoimmunity, hypersensitivity, immunodeficiency, and the control of infectious disease from a public health perspective are considered. Prerequisites HS101 and CT203/HS203. Notes 3 lecture hours
