HR331 – Human Rights and the Environment – 0.5 Credit

This course focuses on the idea of a human right to a healthy and sustainable environment as an example of ongoing developments in the types of claims being made in the name of human rights. It explores the development of this emergent right, linking it to pressing global problems such as climate change, developing world poverty and deforestation. Prerequisites HR100 or CT212 or CT260/HR260 and registration status: Year 3 or Year 4. Exclusions HR360b.
