HR261 – Multiculturalism (with CSL) – 0.5 Credit

This course will introduce students to the issue of cultural diversity and to multiculturalism as a political response to this diversity in Canada and elsewhere. The course will focus on the historical development of cultural diversity and multiculturalism policy as well as contemporary controversies. Students will participate Community Service Learning (CSL) and do written assignments based on their experiences as part of this course. Prerequisites Registration status: senior student. Exclusions HR262.
