HI462 – Research Seminar on Race & Gender in the United States, 1608-1877 – 1.0 Credit

This seminar examines Colonial America and the United States through the lens of race and gender relations, and examines their impact in the new nation. Potential topics include Native-Colonist relations, indentured servitude, slavery, debates over race, sexuality, and class, and clashes over political and social rights. {P}{S} Prerequisites HI412.
