HI304 – Fascism in Europe, 1919-1945 – 0.5 Credit

A comparative survey of the fascist movements of Europe from the end of the First World War through the Second World War. The course includes discussions of: the origins and nature of fascist thought; the ideologies, policies, organizations and social clienteles of the fascist movements; the behaviour of fascist leaders and parties in power; the Holocaust; and an assessment of the fascist legacy. {E} {S}
