GS411 – Global Justice – 0.5 Credit

This course examines the ongoing debate about the extent of, and solutions to, world poverty. Special attention will be given to the disagreements over the prevalence of global poverty, as well as whether wealthier nations have a moral obligation to redistribute resources to the world’s poorer ones. Prerequisites Honours standing in Global Studies and at least 1.0 credit in 300 level GS courses, or permission of the instructor. Exclusions DI400b.
