This course is a requirement for all students undertaking the GSE, and is not open to other students. Students will be introduced to the ethical, cultural, and practical issues associated with doing volunteer work abroad. The course links academic study to student planning for fieldwork placements. Refer to the Calendar for minimum requirements for participation in the GSE; details about the approval process are available on the Global Studies website. Prerequisites Permission of the GSE advisor.
