An introduction to the discipline of cultural studies by examining cultural forms in the German-speaking areas of central Europe. Students will participate in an interdisciplinary study of some of the major artistic, social, intellectual and religious movements past and present. Prerequisites GM211 or permission of the department. Exclusions GM230, GM350.
