This course is a survey of Christian public worship from an ecumenical and global perspective. This course introduces students to the biblical, historical, theological and ritual dimensions of worship, with attention to the role of music in worship praxis throughout the world. Course activities include readings, assignments, visits to local places of worship, video material, classroom lectures and discussion. Prerequisites GC101 A and GC101 B.
