This course provides a comprehensive overview of basic French grammar and an introduction to more complex grammatical patterns, while offering students the opportunity to practice their skills in a conversational setting. Grammar exercises, which form the core of the course, are complemented by authentic French texts and documents, which will provide a basis for class activities and discussion. Prerequisites FR102 or Grade 11 French. Exclusions Grade 12 French and FR103, or French immersion (except with permission of the department). Notes 3 lecture hours, 1 lab hour, 1 conversation hour
