This course is intended to provide a foundation in the theories of learning and development which will guide teaching practice. Throughout the course, current theoretical approaches and key concepts in learning and child development are considered in the context of relevant classroom applications. Depending on division of TEC enrolment, the course will emphasize issues and examples related to very young, middle-childhood and/or adolescent students. Notes 36 hours
