A survey of the literature of the later Romantic Period (c.1810-1840). The course explores works by canonical and non-canonical writers in a variety of genres and styles: sonnets, odes, verse dramas, lyric poetry, manifestos, novels, confessional non-fiction, literary criticism and theory, letters, journals, etc. Exclusions EN294.
