CT324 – Encounters with the Global – 0.5 Credit

 As we adjust to living in a globalized world, it becomes increasingly important to understand how our cultural assumptions colour our understandings of the various cultures we encounter. This course is designed to help students uncover their own assumptions and to better grasp the customs and values of people holding different world views. Special emphasis will be placed on case studies reflecting the cultural, religious, social and political views of people from around the world. Prerequisites Registration status: Year 3 or Year 4 Contemporary Studies (honours or general).
