BI308 – Animal Behaviour – 0.5 Credit

An evolutionary approach to the study of animal behaviour. The control and development of behaviour will be introduced and placed in context within the broader scope of biology; however, the main emphasis of the course will be on the adaptive value and evolutionary history of specific behaviours. Prerequisites At least 1.0 senior Biology credit and one of MA141, MA240 or MA241; or two of PS260, PS261, PS262 or PS263 and one of PS291, PS292, PS295 or PS296. Exclusions BI408. Notes 3 lecture hours, 3 lab and/or seminar hours
