BI300 – Environmental Toxicology – 0.5 Credit – Fall

A lecture and laboratory course covering toxicological principles, toxicity testing as well as the effects of natural and artificial toxicants on the environment. Topics for discussion may also include metals, herbicides, pesticides, radionuclides and emerging contaminants. Prerequisites BI111 (or BI100*), BI236 (or BI230), BI256 (or BI253* or BI283*), BI266 (or BI263*); CH111. (One of MA141, MA240 or MA241 or equivalent is strongly recommended.) Exclusions BI310*, BI496f. Notes 3 lecture hours, 3 lab hours
