BI155 – Fundamentals of Ornithology – 0.5 Credit

An introduction to the study of birds. Topics include evolution, ecology, aerodynamics of flight, diversification, geographical distribution, organ systems (form and function), taxonomy and systematics, migration and navigation. Conservation issues and the relationships of humans with birds, with an emphasis on North American species, will be emphasized. (Online Learning course) Exclusions BI255 or registration status: BA or BSc Biology programs.
