This seminar course introduces students to the field of cultural resource management. The course will examine the role of commercial archaeology within the discipline of archaeology and introduce students to the methods, principles and legislative guidelines under which fieldwork and data collection are conducted in a CRM environment. In addition, students will be taught the essential aspects of archaeological consulting including legislative requirements, fieldwork, report preparation and business fundamentals. Prerequisites AR101, AR102, and either AR241 or AR235.
